The "All Its Citizens" party condemns the demolition of the village Umm al-Hiran

"To protect the rights of every community, regardless of religion, ethnicity, nationality"

- The basic principles of the All Its Citizens party

Under the auspices of the war and an unfortunate media blackout, the authorities completed the series of expulsion of the people of the Bedouin village "Umm al-

Hiran" that began about 20 years ago, eventually forcing the people to destroy their homes themselves, and if not, then the state will do the job and they will pay the costs of the demolitions. Yesterday, the police forces guarded the demolition of the last building in the village, which is the village mosque.

Treating the Bedouin residents of the Negev in general, and the residents of the unrecognized villages, as third-class citizens, while denying their most basic rights, which are a home and housing, and ignoring the obligation to provide them with simple infrastructure such as water and electricity, and ignoring the obligation to provide acceptable housing alternatives for them, is the greatest discrimination between citizens of the state, contrary to what was said in the Declaration of Independence, and contrary to the most basic human rights.

The "All Its Citizens" party, condemns these actions and this form of unreasonable solutions, calls on the government to implement a civilized solution to the Umm al-Hiran problem that is appropriate for a democratic state and according to what is stated in the Declaration of Independence on which the state was founded, a solution that satisfies the residents of the village who have become refugees in their homeland. The party also calls on the government to develop a decent, acceptable and humanitarian solution for the remaining unrecognized villages, which are no different from refugee camps within the country.
