The Arab Society Extends a Hand to the State and Democracy

סקר שהוזמן לאחרונה ע"י יוזמות אברהם ובוצע ע"י סטאטנט, מראה ש- 89% מהאזרחים הערבים במדינה תומכים בכניסה של מפלגה ערבית לממשלה עתידית או בתמיכה שלה בממשלה מבחוץ.

44% ציינו שהם תומכים בכך בכל ממשלה שתקום.

על פי נתוני הסקר, רק 9% סברו שבשום אופן אסור למפלגה ערבית להיות חלק מקואליציה, ואילו 2% סירבו להשיב.

תוצאות הסקר הזה תומכות בסקרים קודמים המראים שהחברה הערבית עברה שינוי חיובי אחרי מהלומת ה7 באוקטובר והמלחמה ההרסנית שעדיין מרימה ראש. להבדיל מהחברה היהודית, החברה הערבית הפנימה שהדרך הנכונה היא לשתף פעולה עם החברה היהודית למען שינוי לטובה של המצב במדינה ולמען הפסקת המלחמה והתחלת עידן חדש של שיתוף פעולה יהודי ערבי. שיתוף שיאפשר יציאה ממעגל הדמים והחזרת האמון ההדדי בין שתי החברות.

A recent survey commissioned by Abraham Initiatives and conducted by Statnet shows that 89% of Arab citizens in the country support the inclusion of an Arab party in a future government or its external support for the government.

Additionally, 44% stated that they support such participation in any government that is formed.

According to the survey data, only 9% believed that an Arab party should never be part of a coalition, while 2% refused to answer.

These survey results align with previous polls indicating that the Arab society has undergone a positive shift following the October 7 attack and the ongoing devastating war. Unlike the Jewish society, the Arab public has realized that **the right path is cooperation with the Jewish society to improve the situation in the country, end the war, and begin a new era of Arab-Jewish collaboration.

Such cooperation could break the cycle of bloodshed and restore mutual trust between the two communities.

Will there be open ears to this message? Will there be willingness for political cooperation within the Israeli political landscape?
