A year has passed since the 7th of October. A year since the terrible massacre in the Gaza envelope communities, which left deep scars among all citizens of the state, Jews and Arabs alike, and the severe and terrible consequences of that event also affected the Palestinian people and the region in general.
The Israeli government abandoned its citizens before October 7th, during the terrible event, and after it. The government did not fulfill its duty to its citizens, did not care for their well-being and security, and did not promote a deal to return all the hostages to their families.
Innocent people were murdered in cold blood, women, the elderly, and children had their dreams of a better future cut short, further reinforcing that "in wars, everyone loses"!
Our region is still bleeding. In recent weeks, the blood government decided to open another front in the northern arena. Already the war is claiming lives in Lebanon and Israel, as soldiers are sent to their deaths for the political survival of the negligent government.
We said it from day one: only a political solution can end the cycle of bloodshed.
Even leaders of the free world - Biden, Macron, and others - are calling for a ceasefire, an end to the war, and a deal to bring the hostages home.
We, the Party of All Its Citizens, call on all political parties to join and support the outline of our friend Gershon Baskin and General Amiram Levin, the "Three Weeks" outline, which includes 8 sustainable clauses. This is an agreement that has received the approval of Hamas negotiator Ghazi Hamad. The proposed agreement also ensures progress on the question of the day after, and pursuit of a diplomatic agreement in the northern sector.
It's time to fulfill the commandment of our Palestinian and Israeli friends - to strive for true peace between the two peoples. It's time not only to dream but also to realize the dream. Together, Israelis and Palestinians demand an end to the cursed conflict, and the beginning of a new Middle East, where there is room for everyone.
